Position Details:
Two regular, full-time positions, 40 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside campus, San Elijo campus, Community Learning Center, and/or Technology Career Institute. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, subject to rotation. The person selected may be assigned to any district facility during hours of operation.

Annual compensation is based on salary range 34, step 1 or 2 on the  classified salary schedule. Initial step placement will be determined based on directly related experience, with annual salary step increases up to step
5. After five years of district service, employees earn a longevity stipend that increases over time. Total annual compensation includes annual salary, the district’s average annual health and welfare benefit cost, and the district’s retirement contributions (CalPERS). Employees must arrange direct deposit of paychecks via electronic fund transfer.

  • Photocopy of California Intermediate POST Certificate attached to the designated link

Offer of employment is contingent upon: legal work authorization, age, fingerprinting, TB test clearance, minimum qualifications, and vaccination status or exemption. The screening committee will review materials for up to three to four weeks after the first screening date. Selected for interview will be contacted by phone; others will be notified by email.

* Vaccination details: individuals are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after completing the final dose in a 2-dose series or after a single-dose vaccine.*
