CPA Licensed Technical Director

A company is looking for a Technical Director, Tax specializing in Insurance Federal and Corporate Tax.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs implementation of tax modules for accounting data production and operating results Ensures preparation and review of federal and state/local tax returns Acts as a subject matter authority for tax audits and provides research for advantageous settlements

Required Qualifications , Training, and

Education:

Undergraduate degree in tax, law, or accounting; progress toward a master's degree in taxation preferred CPA or JD preferred Minimum of eight years in insurance tax field, with six years in tax management Extensive experience in Insurance Federal Tax and Corporate Tax Previous work in a Big 4 firm or public accounting environment with insurance industry clients
