Assistant Coach Associate (Part-time) Instructor Pool 2025 - 2026

The college is accepting applications to build a pool of instructors for possible future part‑time assignments at all locations. The department chairperson or designee will review applications only if vacancies become available. Instructors may be assigned to any campus or authorized facility. Assignments may include days, evenings, or weekends. Applications are valid through June 30, 2026, after which they will expire.

A new posting for this pool will be posted on July 1, 2026, and those still interested will need to reapply at that time.

• Assist the Athletic Director in the development and success of student‑athletes.
• Assist in the planning and execution of team practices, recruitment, game preparation, and student engagement.

• Must maintain and permanently reside in a principal place of residence in California within 200 road miles of the regularly assigned district worksite.
• Associate faculty who have a fully online assignment may reside beyond the 200‑mile limit but must remain in California.
• Can request temporary residence outside California or beyond 200 miles on a case‑by‑case basis for no more than twelve consecutive months.

$89.79 to $105.04 per hour, based on education.
