Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day accounting operations for our multi-entity medical practice. This role is responsible for full-cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable, reconciliations, payroll support, and monthly financial reporting.

The ideal candidate is detail-driven, highly organized, and confident working independently.
Strong Quick Books experience is required
, as leadership relies on accurate, up-to-date financial data for decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain complete and accurate books in Quick Books for multiple entities

Record all transactions timely and accurately

Reconcile bank accounts, savings accounts, and credit cards

Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports

Assist with the month-end and year-end close

Accounts Payable (Full Cycle)

Process vendor invoices accurately and on time

Perform three-way matching when applicable

Prepare and process payments (checks, credit cards, Bill Pay)

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain organized AP records and documentation

Process patient refunds as needed

Communicate with vendors regarding billing inquiries

Payroll & Compliance Support

Assist with payroll journal entries and commission reporting

Track and process wage garnishments

Coordinate Cafeteria Plan and benefits-related accounting

Prepare and file 1099s / 1096s

Prepare property tax and sales tax reports

Additional Responsibilities

Maintain asset listings and coordinate depreciation schedules with CPA

Monitor cash flow and account balances

Support CPA requests and audits

Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls

Required Qualifications

3+ years of bookkeeping experience
, including full-cycle accounts payable

Strong hands-on Quick Books experience (required)

Solid understanding of general accounting principles

High attention to detail and accuracy

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines

Professional communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a healthcare or medical practice environment

Experience supporting payroll and working with CPAs

Multi-entity or multi-location accounting experience
