Registered Nurse (RN) | Full Time | Days - 2E Surgical Nursing
Ocean Springs Hospital, Ocean Springs, MS

• Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process within applicable professional standards (Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, ANA Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice) to assist patients attain, maintain, and restore health when possible.

• Education:
  
  Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Licensure:
  Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.

• All RNs are required to complete and maintain BCLS certification upon hire and/or transfer.
• Specialty area certifications as listed (examples: ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NRP) depending on assignment. RNs must obtain required certifications within specified time frames.
• 12 months from start date in the specialty area to acquire appropriate certification; 18 months to acquire TNCC for Emergency Department.

• Minimum of one (1) year of inpatient clinical experience preferred. Experience must be within the past five (5) years, or evidence of successful refresher program.

• Patient Care Manager

• LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, Unit Technicians

• Work is moderately active; requires movement around the facility and may involve lifting or moving objects, exposure to body fluids, and repetitive motions.
• Requires normal near and far vision and the ability to perceive sounds clearly; able to maintain activity for extended periods and work varied schedules as needed.

• Strong assessment and decision-making abilities; excellent communication skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Superior customer service, professional etiquette, and computer proficiency (MS Outlook, Word); ability to apply clinical judgment across patient populations.
