Thank you for your interest in the Registered Nurse - Radiology role at Singing River Health System. This position is based at Ocean Springs Hospital (3109 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, Mississippi 39564, United States) and may also involve service at Ocean Springs Imaging Center. The role is part‑time, day shift with rotating days, rotating call, holidays, and hurricane teams.

The Registered Nurse in Radiology plans, organizes, coordinates, directs, and evaluates the nursing care of all patients in the Radiology Department. Core responsibilities include providing education, starting IVs, managing supplies and equipment, collaborating with physicians, and ensuring all duties align with Singing River Health System procedures, accreditation standards, and governing guidelines.

• Organize and coordinate nursing care for radiology patients.
• Provide patient education and manage IV placement.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and resource inventory.
• Collaborate with physicians and SRHS staff to promote teamwork.
• Ensure compliance with all institutional policies, accreditation requirements, and professional guidelines.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Mississippi.
• Must complete and maintain Bachelor of Clinical Leadership Skills (BCLS) upon hire and maintain current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of critical care experience.

Stand, turn, bend, stoop, lift, climb, and perform many physical motions daily. Must stand for extended periods, walk extensively, and endure exposure to communicable disease or radiation. Requires good vision, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle multiple equipment and invasive lines.

Demonstrate strong assessment, decision‑making, and communication skills—both verbal and written. Maintain emotional stability in high‑stress situations and meet deadlines while multitasking and attention to detail.

Provide superior customer service and professional etiquette. Proficient with computers (keyboard, MS Outlook, Word) and other office technology (telephone, fax, etc.).
