The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a strategic executive leader responsible for the overall financial management, planning, and reporting of the hospitality organization. The CFO provides financial leadership across hotel, condominium, resort, restaurant, or multi-property operations, ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, capital efficiency, and long-term growth.
This role requires deep expertise in hospitality finance, operational cost structures, revenue management, asset management, and capital investment strategy. The ideal candidate holds an active CPA credential and has substantial experience within the hospitality industry.
This role will oversee and mentor a small finance team while actively participating in the daily financial operations of the organization. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in a hands‑on environment and is comfortable balancing strategic oversight with operational execution.

Responsibilities Strategic Leadership- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to overall corporate strategy.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), forecasting, and budgeting for multi‑property hospitality operations.
- Advise the Hotel Board on financial performance, expansion opportunities, capital investments, and risk management.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, development projects, and asset management initiatives.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. For two hotels and condominium association.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies.
- Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial policies.
- Oversee individual condominium owner revenue and expenses.
- Monitor key hospitality KPIs such as:
- ADR (Average Daily Rate)
- Occupancy Rates
- GOP (Gross Operating Profit)
- Food & Beverage cost percentages
- Utility contracts
- Collaborate with revenue management and operations teams to maximize profitability.
- Analyze property‑level P&L performance and identify operational efficiencies.
- Oversee cash flow management, working capital, capital expenditure planning, and accounts receivable.
- Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, and debt structures.
- Oversee insurance coverage, renewals, and enterprise risk management.
- Ensure proper financial controls across all properties.
- Lead and mentor small accounting, finance, and property‑level financial teams.
- Develop succession planning and talent development within the finance department.
- Foster cross‑department collaboration between finance, operations, HR, and sales.
- Review billing with hotel group leaders.
