The Inventory Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring product availability through regular stock checks, forecasting, and coordination with buyers and sales teams. This role also supports warehouse operations by managing inventory systems and fulfilling transfer requests, contributing to efficient supply chain and customer satisfaction.
Position Responsibilities- Count product and locate missing inventory.
- Forecast supply and demand requirements to ensure stock availability.
- Proof slots and ネ fulfill buyer transfer requests.
- Perform regular stock checks and escalate any issues.
- Operate reach truck or pallet jack as needed.
- Communicate via email with buyers and salesforce.
- Run reports as needed.
- Use and learn inventory systems such as AS400 and SAP.
- Understand product dating and rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
- 6 months prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics is beneficial
- Ability to communicate information accurately and apply strong math skills Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and intermediate general computer skills
- Must be able to work the scheduled / assigned times and required overtime for the position
- Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift
- Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products off shelves at various heights weighing between 10‑35 pounds and generally up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location, throughout shift
- Able to work in multi‑temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry
- Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check
- 1+ years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience
- Food service distribution or related industry experience $jlove
- Forklift Operator experience
- Familiarity with AS400 and SAP systems is a plus
