About the RoleOcala‑Marion County Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) is seeking a Transportation Planner to provide support and oversight for a variety of responsibilities, including development of the Transportation Improvement Program, maps and databases, planning studies, and coordination work with the TPO Governing Board and committees.

Key Responsibilities- Develop the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).
- Create and maintain maps and data bases relating to transportation projects.
- Conduct planning studies and generate technical reports.
- Coordinate activities with the TPO Governing Board and its committees.
- Advisory and Certified Professional (AICP) licensure – not required.
- 1‑4 years of experience in transportation planning.
- Specialty in transportation planning.
$56,929.60 – $88,233.60 per year.
