Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club is in search of a motivated, team-oriented individual with previous landscape residential and or commercial irrigation experience. This person will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our irrigation systems throughout the residential and common areas of the Club. The Irrigation Technician will work with the Horticulture Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure the irrigation system is properly functioning.

This role includes responsibilities such as maintenance, repair, and upkeep of irrigation systems across residential and common areas. The technician works closely with Horticulture and Assistant Manager to troubleshoot and ensure proper system operation.

• 2-4 years as an Irrigation Technician.
• Responsible for the upkeep, repairs and maintenance of the irrigation systems.
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the irrigation parts room and maintains inventory of supplies.
• Assists Manager with preventative maintenance of designated systems, including edging of irrigation and drainage systems.
• Replace or adjust sprinkler heads as needed to ensure even coverage and prevent dry or wet spots.
• Completes purchase orders and submits them to the Manager for authorization.
• Identify and repair leaks, clogs, and other system malfunctions promptly.
• Demonstrates courtesy to all Members and guests at all times.
• Assists with cleanup and pumping of water after large storms/hurricanes.
• Trains and supervises staff assigned to irrigation responsibilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
