Schedule: Monday–Friday,
First Shift
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Leading manufacturer of fire‑rescue and industrial equipment, hiring for an experienced Industrial Mechanic for their Ocala facility.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and adjustments on production machinery and mechanical systems.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
- Install, align, and test mechanical components , including motors, belts, bearings, pumps, and conveyors.
- Troubleshoot issues involving mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems .
- Use a variety of hand and power tools , such as wrenches, drills, grinders, torque tools, and precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals .
- Document maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs completed.
- Follow all safety procedures and ensure machines are safe to operate.
- Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to coordinate repairs and minimize disruptions.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ocala, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
