Shop Service Technician III – Heavy Equipment

Join Ring Power Cat as a Shop Service Technician III.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct all assigned work safely, adhering to all applicable safety, environmental, and contamination control policies, procedures, and regulations. Wear proper personal protective equipment.
  • Maintain a minimum set of tools required for job performance to diagnose, disassemble, and assemble components to manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Attend and successfully complete required technician training classes.
  • Diagnose and perform designated repairs on customer or company owned equipment including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Work in the assigned area in a neat and orderly fashion, constantly looking for ways to improve work methods, work area, and safety standards.
  • Research repair needs and order parts as needed. Complete required documentation utilizing appropriate software to record repairs, accounting for repair times.
  • Approach work in a positive manner and maintain conduct supportive of the work team. Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks on time while maintaining safety and quality expectations.
  • Assist in maintaining proper facility appearance and shop conditions by following contamination control guidelines, including housekeeping, and performing other general maintenance duties.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Formal

    Education:

    High School diploma or GED.
  • Experience:

    1–2 years.
  • Required/Credentials:
    Completed all required training curriculum to be designated a Tech III.
  • Skills:

    Able to comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
  • Preferred:
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and relevant Dealer software programs.
