Security Officer needed to adhere to security operating procedures (SOP) and assist with maintaining a safe and secure environment at the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club. The Security Officer must work independently, as part of a team, and possess exceptional customer relations as a Gate House Officer. The desired candidate should have previous experience, a satisfactory driving record, and be capable of conducting vehicle patrols/foot patrols if necessary.

• Communicating with residents, members, staff, security personnel and management.
• Providing courteous, respectful and pleasant interactions.
• Performing foot patrols.
• Preparing reports on daily shift activity.
• Accurately relaying pertinent information to Supervisor, Director of Security, and the General Manager.
• Handling emergency response in accordance with established procedures.
• Documenting and reporting incidents and maintenance matters.

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Satisfactory driving record (required to operate company-owned vehicle).
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• High level of integrity.
• Strong work ethic.
• Attention to detail.
• CCTV and access control experience.
• Ability to work independently and with other security team members.
• Prior experience required – security, military, or law enforcement.

• $15.00 hr.
• 3rd shift Thursday – Monday, full-time 40 hrs.
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts and assist with call-out or coworker vacation.
