Territory:
Ocala / Orlando West, FL - Psychiatry. Target city for territory is Ocala; candidates living within 40 miles of territory boundaries with access to a major airport will be considered. Territory boundaries include:
Ocala and Villages North, Ocoee and Winter Garden South and East, Brooksville West.
- Lead the promotion of the psychiatry portfolio, executing sales and marketing strategies with comprehensive clinical knowledge to drive sales performance.
- Apply data-based insights to create opportunities, develop strategy & tactics, allocate resources to enhance sales execution, monitor progress and adjust direction to maximize sales performance.
- Deliver messages clearly to customers, probe needs, handle objections, and close calls with a commitment to action.
- Build and maintain productive internal and external relationships based on customer needs and organizational goals, incorporating a "total office" account management approach.
- Gather and validate key market trends and dynamics, map account linkages, and apply therapeutic knowledge to uncover and prioritize opportunities.
- Stay informed on reimbursement dynamics and address payer access issues using Lundbeck resources (IDNs, Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial).
- Apply knowledge of the pharmaceutical and regulatory environment, adhering to Lundbeck policies, procedures, and FDA regulations regarding promotion of products.
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university
- 2+ years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience
- Ability to score highly on disease and product training exams and annual product knowledge certification
- Self-starter with strong work ethic and outstanding communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer literacy
- Must live within 40 miles of territory boundaries
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company requirements; driving is an essential duty
- Willingness to meet credentialing requirements of healthcare providers / facilities as needed
- Previous experience within a specialty product sales force
- Experience promoting CNS/neuroscience products (e.g., depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder)
- Documented successful sales performance
- Ability to develop and execute integrated account plans
- Strong analytical background and experience using sales data tools to identify trends
- Experience with product launches and alliance partnerships
- Leadership demonstrated through committees, rotations, panels and related activities
- Willingness/ability to travel up to 30% - 40% domestically to meet with customers and internal personnel; attend 4-8 conferences/meetings within the United States. Travel must be feasible in a timely manner.
The salary range is national and may vary by location and qualifications. Salary Pay Range: $117,000 - $137,000 with eligibility for a sales incentive target of $39,000.
