Job Description

Primarily responsible for all activities during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You set the example and ensure that all policies and procedures are followed 100% of the time, with the same expectation for your crew. You may be involved in staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, scheduling, image adherence, customer service, attendance and punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Maintain daily cleanliness of equipment and facilities.
• Lead and train team members to adhere to company policies and standards.

General Job Duties For All Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.

• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.

Training

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders in person or over the phone.

Essential Functions / Skills

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator optional).
• Make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication to take and process orders.
• Entering orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Deliver product in multi-story buildings and various delivery sites while carrying product.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying weather conditions when delivering or performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures typically range from coolers to hot work areas.
• Potential exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust.
• Cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving parts.

• Hearing and talking on the telephone; vision required for in-store tasks, depth perception, and driving.

Physical Requirements
