• PCU level of care, ACLS, BLS, ability to read heart rhythms, understand hemodynamics, understand ABGs, titrate cardiac drips.
• Procedures performed on unit: chest tube insertion, cardioversion, central line insertion.

• Number of Beds: 24
• Patient Ratios: 4:1, sometimes float to 4 North (med‑surg) which is 6:1
• Staffing: PCTs (12:1 ratio), Unit Secretary, 2 Clinical Managers, 1 Director
• Equipment:
  Dash monitors, Welch Alynn Dynamaps, Accucheck glucometers, EKG machine, bladder scanner, Alaris IV pumps, PCA pumps
• Documentation System:
  Meditech
• Scheduling:
  Every other weekend, 3 shifts per week
• Floating Policy: as needed

  AIDET, courteous and respectful, listening to patients
