Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 48-bed, high-acuity Intensive Care Unit in the Ocala area. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced critical care in a trauma-level environment, caring for complex and unstable patients. Nurses are supported by a collaborative interdisciplinary team and encouraged to pursue continuous clinical growth.

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based ICU nursing practices
• Perform, document, and evaluate comprehensive patient assessments and monitoring
• Administer medications safely and evaluate therapeutic responses
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, care plans, medications, and recovery expectations
• Promote disease prevention and healthy lifestyle practices
• Participate in quality improvement and performance enhancement initiatives
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care plans

Required

Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years); higher-acuity experience preferred

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license

Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation

BLS and ACLS required within 30 days of start date

TNCC or CCRN required within 1 year of hire
