Emergency Room RN

Position: Registered Nurse – Emergency Room Location: Ocala, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time, Regular

A top-tier healthcare facility in Ocala is seeking a skilled and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurse. This role requires sharp clinical judgment, quick decision-making, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You'll be part of a dedicated group committed to delivering high-quality care to patients across the full spectrum of emergencies—from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.

• Triage, assess, and provide care for patients of all ages in urgent and emergent situations.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical outcomes.
• Administer general nursing care to multiple patients while continuously prioritizing needs.
• Educate patients and their families on post-care instructions and ensure appropriate referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and cross-functional hospital teams while remaining focused on patient safety and satisfaction.

• Minimum of one year of recent acute care RN experience (Emergency Department, ICU, or PCU preferred; paramedic background is a plus).
• Active Florida RN license or multistate license required. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 90 days of employment.
