Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical research team. This role is ideal for nurses who are interested in transitioning into clinical research, as prior research experience is not required. Comprehensive training will be provided to support your development in clinical trial coordination and research nursing responsibilities. The focus of these trials is Alzheimer's Disease.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to study participants in accordance with study protocols and physician orders
- Perform study-related procedures such as vital signs, ECGs, blood draws, specimen processing, and medication administration
- Educate participants on study procedures, schedules, and expectations
- Accurately document study activities, assessments, and adverse events in electronic medical records and research databases
- Coordinate participant visits, follow-up appointments, and protocol-required assessments
- Collaborate with investigators, clinical research coordinators, and site staff to ensure protocol compliance
- Adhere to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), institutional policies, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor participant safety and promptly report adverse events or protocol deviations
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
- Interest in clinical research and willingness to learn regulatory and protocol-driven processes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience in outpatient, inpatient, specialty clinic, or hospital settings
- Phlebotomy, IV therapy, or infusion experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
- Structured onboarding and training in clinical research practices
