As an ER RN, you'll be at the frontline of patient care-delivering urgent treatment, stabilizing critically ill or injured patients, and supporting families through challenging moments. From triaging walk-in patients to managing trauma cases, your ability to remain calm, focused, and compassionate under pressure is essential.

Emergency Patient Care & Triage:

• Triage, assess, and treat patients of all ages presenting with a wide range of urgent and emergent conditions.
• Provide direct nursing care for minor injuries, acute illnesses, and life-threatening emergencies.
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform interventions as indicated.

Multitasking & Case Management:

• Manage multiple patients simultaneously while prioritizing care in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
• Collaborate with physicians, emergency staff, and other departments to coordinate and deliver safe, timely care.
• Provide patient education, discharge instructions, and referrals to appropriate follow-up services.

Candidate requirements

• Education: Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• Licensure:
  • Florida RN License or approved multistate (compact) RN license required.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 2-3 years) experience in acute care nursing (ER, ICU, or PCU settings preferred).
  • Prior paramedic experience is a plus.
  • Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - within 6 months of employment.
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention - within 6 months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• National certification in emergency nursing (e.g., CEN) is highly preferred.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
