Nurse Practitioner Physician Job In Florida

• Provide services similar to those of a physician.
• Examine patients, take medical histories, maintain patient records, identify health risk factors, prescribe medications, make referrals and otherwise treat health conditions.
• Sees patients both in the hospital setting and practice setting.
• Depending on surgical specialty, may work with assigned physician(s) in endoscopy or OR.
• Assists with in-office procedures with physician and/or may perform minor procedures independently.
• Provides direct care with licensing credentials under the auspices of supervising MD.
• Depending on the practice, ARNP may be required to work and/or be on call on weekends.

• MSN (Masters of Nursing)
• One+ years experience
• Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida.
• Advanced Registered Nurse Certification.
• Continuing education required to maintain licensure.
