FSED Registered Nurse (RN) – Ocala, FL

- Schedule: Nights or Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends)
- Pay: $32.00 – $48.00/hour (based on experience)
- Shift Differentials: Nights +$4.25/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 Days | $10,000 Nights

Join a high-acuity Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) delivering rapid, patient-centered emergency care in the Ocala region. This role is ideal for an RN who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels in critical decision-making, and is committed to delivering safe, high-quality emergency care across all patient populations.
The unit includes 12 beds and supports a diverse range of emergency presentations—from minor injuries to complex, life‑threatening conditions—requiring strong assessment skills, adaptability, and consistent clinical readiness.
Responsibilities- Triage, assess, and provide evidence‑based emergency care to patients of all ages.
- Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized care plans.
- Prioritize and manage multiple acute cases simultaneously.
- Provide discharge instructions, education, and referrals to support continuity of care.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety, rapid response, and clinical excellence.
- Demonstrate proficiency in crisis management, de‑escalation, and emergency protocols.
Required
- Active Florida RN license or Compact license (with requirement to obtain Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED.
- BLS (within 30 days of hire).
- ACLS (within 90 days).
- PALS (within 90 days).
- Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (within 6 months).
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 6 months).
- Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor (within 6 months).
- Previous FSED or high‑volume ED experience.
- Strong clinical decision‑making and multitasking abilities.
