Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) – Ocala, FL
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
- Schedule: Nights or Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends)
- Pay: $32.00 – $48.00/hour (based on experience)
- Differentials: Nights +$4.25/hr | Weekends +$3.00/hr
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (Days) | $10,000 (Nights)

A high-acuity Emergency Department in the Ocala region is seeking skilled and adaptable Emergency Room Registered Nurses (RNs). This role is well-suited for clinicians who excel in rapid assessment, critical decision-making, and managing diverse emergency presentations—from minor injuries to complex, life‑threatening conditions. You’ll join a collaborative and supportive team committed to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesPerform triage, assessment, and nursing interventions for patients of all ages.
Identify expected outcomes and create individualized care plans.
Manage multiple acute cases simultaneously and prioritize patient needs in real time.
Administer medications and treatments according to clinical standards.
Provide discharge instructions, education, and referrals to ensure continuity of care.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain patient safety, clinical readiness, and compliance with emergency care protocols.
Required
Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (must convert within 60 days of relocation).
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or ED.
BLS required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS required within 90 days.
PALS required within 90 days.
Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (within 6 months).
Trauma Nursing Core Course or TNCC Instructor (within 6 months).
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (within 6 months).
Previous Emergency Department experience in high-volume or high-acuity settings.
Strong critical thinking, clinical prioritization, and rapid decision-making skills.
