Our network provides immediate access to chiropractic care, physiotherapy, state‑of‑the‑art imaging, interventional pain management, and orthopedic specialists.
Spine & Orthopedics DivisionThis role operates within Spine and Orthopedics, a clinic developed to deliver timely orthopedic evaluation and minimally invasive treatment options. Our team includes a spine surgeon, extremity surgeon, and interventional pain management specialists. Skilled medical assistants support procedure days while case managers help patients navigate their treatment and billing concerns.
Core ResponsibilitiesMid-level provider responsibilities include:
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis- Perform focused orthopedic and neurological examinations
- Obtain medical histories and review prior records to understand the mechanism of injury
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies such as X‑rays, MRIs, and nerve conduction tests
- Provide clear, supportive education about patient injuries to build understanding and confidence throughout the recovery process
- Recommend interventional pain management procedures based on individual patient needs, including epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, radio frequency ablation, peripheral nerve blocks, and joint injections
- Assist physicians during procedures and help manage patient flow before and after interventions
- Participate in follow‑up care, assess response to treatment, and discuss next‑step recommendations under physician supervision
- Develop evidence‑based care plans that may include physical therapy, home exercise programs, lifestyle recommendations, and ordering non‑controlled medications when indicated
- Coordinate with physical therapy, chiropractic, and imaging departments to support continuity of care
- Document all patient encounters accurately and promptly within the EMR
- Our clinics use eClinical
Works (eCW) for all charting, imaging integration, and communication
- Educate and counsel patients and families about treatment plans, interventional options, and wellness expectations
- Work closely with orthopedic surgeons, interventional pain physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, case managers, and imaging teams
- Contribute to a team‑based model that prioritizes accurate diagnosis and high‑quality patient experience
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive history and physical exams
- Review imaging reports and incorporate findings into clinical decision‑making
- Order appropriate diagnostic tests
- Complete detailed reviews of records relevant to the patient’s injuries
- Deliver consistent, high‑quality patient care under physician supervision
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Florida license and national certification
- Strong clinical judgment and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Interest or experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, or musculoskeletal medicine preferred (training provided)
- Monday–Friday schedule (no weekends)
