State and City: Florida - Ocala

Shift: 8 Hr. X 5 Days

Must live or be willing to move within 1 hour of the site in Trenton, FL.

The Plant Operator – RNG will operate a Renewable Natural Gas Plant “RNG” facility to maximize production. Work closely with Lead Plant Operator to conduct all plant routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs. Take ownership in plant performance and tackle challenges in support of operational goals. Assist with other regional RNG and CNG stations outside of primary plant assignment.

• Operate and maintain the Plant and all associated equipment in a safe, detailed, organized, and presentable manner. Tasks may include housekeeping, weeding, or site maintenance, minor fabrication and the like.
• Manage, diagnose, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems. Remote and onsite assistance is available for unresolved issues.
• Learn to maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations and maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on all major and ancillary equipment. Balance of plant equipment may include but is not limited to site vehicles, gas analyzers, air compressors, gas compressors, radiators, air handling equipment, pumps, filters, flares, gas treatment equipment, and other site‑specific equipment.
• Use the Operational Data Management System (ODMS) to track and record events, operational data, and daily “walk around” readings.
• Understand, follow, and assist with compliance regulations for the Plant. This may include record keeping, gathering data, performing inspections, keeping permits posted, maintaining compliance equipment, and meeting with inspectors.
• Respond to Plant callouts in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist in training coworkers or temporary Operators at the Plant, and travel as needed to support Operator training at other Plants. Provide backup coverage to other Operators.

• 2 years of plant operations and/or other related experience.
• High school or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and concisely with Company team members, contractors, vendors, and the public in general.
• Mechanically inclined and computer literate.
• Must be able to interpret diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to solve and analyze problems logically and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and others.

• Trade school certification or associate’s degree in a related technical field. May be considered in lieu of some required experience.
• Related experience in some of or all the following industries:
  Renewable Energy;
  Natural Gas Processing;
  Chemical;
  Power;
  Waste Management;
  Environmental Air Quality Control Systems. Instrumentation and Controls background (PLC, VFD, Electrical).

• Must be able to work extended hours for emergency response including call‑out duty as business needs dictate.
• Work includes extended workdays, weekends, holidays and call‑out and stand‑by schedule 24/7/365.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies and/or business needs within guidelines and required time frame.
• Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time, be exposed to excessive noise, work near moving parts and be exposed to outside environments with varying weather conditions.

• Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for work assigned.
• Must be physically capable of indoor/outdoor manual labor in adverse weather conditions.
