Location: Ocala, FL (34475)

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (M-F)

normally working overtime hours: 6am-4:30pm M-F and some Saturdays

Pay: $17/hr-$18/hr

We are seeking a mechanically inclined and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Mechanical Assembler. In this hands‑on role, you’ll be responsible for building and assembling large pumps used in firetrucks using blueprints, schematics, and a variety of tools and equipment. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong mechanical aptitude looking to grow in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

• Assemble and install components using blueprints, schematics, and standard mechanical practices.
• Perform basic fitting, wiring, and mechanical assembly of sub‑assemblies and finished products.
• Use hand tools, power tools, presses, cranes, hoists, and other equipment to complete tasks.
• Inspect and test components using measuring instruments and test fixtures.
• Document defective products and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Report supply needs and ensure inventory levels are maintained.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Transport products and equipment to designated work areas.
• Detect and correct errors, make repairs and adjustments to pass inspection.
• Clean and perform minor repairs on assembly equipment.

This is a Contract position based out of Ocala, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ocala, FL.
