Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and reliable CNC Machine Operator to join our production/fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used in the metal fabrication process, ensuring products meet quality standards and production goals.
Key Responsibilities- Operate various metalworking machines such as punch press, brake press, bandsaw, drill press, etc.
- Set up machines according to specifications and perform routine maintenance.
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Previous CNC metal machine operating experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metalworking environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Basic math and measurement skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
- Non climate‑controlled facility
- Enclosed with large bay doors open during the warmer months
Contract to Hire position based out of OCALA, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
