Must live or be willing to move within 1 hour of the site in Trenton, FL.
HOW YOU'LL HELP DRIVE THE FUTURE OF NATURAL GAS?The Plant Operator - RNG will operate a Renewable Natural Gas Plant "RNG" facility to maximize production. Work closely with Lead Plant Operator to conduct all plant routine and non-routine maintenance and repairs. Take ownership in plant performance and tackle challenges in support of operational goals. Assist with other regional RNG and CNG stations outside of primary plant assignment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Performs a combination of the following:
- 2 years of plant operations and/or other related experience.
- High school or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and concisely with Company team members, contractors, vendors, and the public.
- Mechanical inclined and computer literate.
- Must be able to interpret diagrams and schematics.
- Ability to solve and analyze problems logically and establish effective working relationships with others.
- Trade school certification or associate's degree in a related technical field. May be considered in lieu of some required experience.
- Related experience in Renewable Energy, Natural Gas Processing, Chemical, Power, Waste Management, Environmental Air Quality Control Systems, and Instrumentation and Controls background (PLC, VFD, Electrical).

- Must be able to work extended hours for emergency response including call-out duty as business needs dictate.
- Work includes extended workdays, weekends, holidays and call-out and stand‑by schedule 24/7/365.
- Must be able to respond to emergencies and/or business needs within guidelines and required time frame.
- Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods, be exposed to excessive noise, work near moving parts and be exposed to outside environments with varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for work assigned.
- Must be physically capable of indoor/outdoor manual labor in adverse weather conditions.
- Manual dexterity is required to lift 50 lbs., manually transport a load up to 50 lbs., and apply up to 600‑foot lbs. of torque.
- Regularly required to stand and walk with the ability to bend, twist, balance, and climb.
- Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and natural gas in certain situations.
- Ability to apply fine dexterity and visually inspect fine print to adjust controls and settings in a mechanical environment.
The successful applicant will be required to take and pass a Baseline Medical Examination as part of the pre-employment screening once an offer has been accepted. A pre-employment drug screening, as well as a background check (including education, employment, criminal, and motor vehicle) will also be conducted as part of the pre-employment screening.
