Position: Manufacturing Supervisor - Ocala, FL Weekend Schedule: Friday-Sunday

Description:

You will serve as the Weekend Schedule Supervisor (Friday–Sunday) for Ocala Operations, leading a team to deliver the required quality, cost, and schedule performance in support of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control missions while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment.

  • Direct daily activities of production employees, ensuring safety, cost, quality, and production standards are met.
  • Resolve conflicts and build respectful working relationships within the team.

  • Manage manufacturing costs and identify improvement opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Prior supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to develop, coordinate, lead and execute daily production plans independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to assign work to unionized hourly workforce and hold employees accountable for following processes, cost, quality and schedule.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve daily production issues, working simultaneously with supporting functional areas;
    Quality, Engineering and Supply Chain.
  • Must be able to work first and second shift and support overtime, as needed.
  • This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills
  • Ability to obtain a clearance.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing union environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including the ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma.
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of managing workmanship, time and attendance, enforcement of work rules, employee training development & certifications, and audit readiness.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
