Position: Set Up Tech - College of Central FL
Pay rate: $16.00/hr

Weekly hours:
Full-Time, 40 hours a week

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM(Must be available to work weekends)

Schedule may change dependent on events

SUMMARY:

The Set Up Person is responsible for helping to set up/break down tables, chairs, and the stage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Performs all assigned tasks in a professional manner in order to reflect the highest integrity of the Custodial Services Department.

* Makes sufficient daily routine inspections as deemed necessary and appropriate to ensure that the work is performed as specified and takes immediate corrective action as may be required to fully comply.

* Maintains proficiency in all techniques and equipment used by the custodial staff.

* Maintains good working relationship with all departments.

* Investigates documents and reports all unusual occurrences to the supervisor.

* Ensures that all equipment is tested regularly.

* Maintains good working relationship with the client and building occupants.

* Reports to work on time, dressed appropriately following the Owens Uniform Policy with uniform and employee badge and black safety shoes.

* Carries a company radio to ensure effective communication among co-workers and Managers.

* Ensures that at the end of the shift, equipment is left clean and ready to use including cleaning materials

* Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

* Must follow all safety policies and report safety violations immediately

EDUCATION/

EXPERIENCE:

* High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.

* 3 - 5 years of cleaning and events experience.

* Valid FL Driver's license required.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:

* Knowledge of Safety Ordinance and Regulations.

* Knowledge of the use of cleaning supplies and equipment.

* Must be able to instruct others in their use.

* Ability to understand documents such as Scope of Work and Procedure Manuals.

* Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

* Apply common sense and understand how to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or on diagram forms.

* Ability to read and comprehend instructions.

* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers.

* Must be able to speak, write, and read English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Bending - 80% of the shift.

* Carrying - 95% of the shift.

* Kneeling - 75% of the shift.

* Lifting - 75% of the shift.

* Pulling and pushing - 80% of the shift.

* Reaching overhead - 75% of the shift.

* Standing - 100% of the shift.

* Walking - 95% of the shift.

* Grasping - 95% of the shift.

* Lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50lbs.

* Carrying up to 30 lbs.
