This position is a temporary assignment through our partnered employment agency. Assignment is estimated to be 6-9 months.

• Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of the building.

• Performs minor repairs and maintenance such as replacing light bulbs or unclogging pipes.

• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and cafeterias.

• Maintains a neat and orderly janitor’s room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.

• Washes windows.

• Moves garbage from inside facility to outdoor garage receptacles.

• Assists in examining facility for safety hazards, reports deficiencies to supervisor.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.

• Detail-oriented and thorough.

• Ability to keep the facility clean and orderly.

• Ability to interact with staff and visitors at the facility while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to complete required tasks. The employee must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds or over 40 pounds with assistance. May be exposed to various workplace hazards, including chemicals, machinery, and noise.
