Overview

Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA — Griswold Home Care of Ocala and The Villages is looking to hire a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties. • Provide companionship and non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes or communities
• Assist with daily tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
• Support clients with cognitive impairments or dementia in a patient, respectful manner
• Help clients maintain personal hygiene and dignity (e.g., bathing, grooming)
• Keep a log of duties performed during the shift and submit accurate documentation
• Communicate with the office regularly and provide timely updates on client needs
• Contribute to a positive, safe, and supportive care environment

• Reliable transportation
• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2+ years of CNA or home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts
• Willing to train
• Punctual, dependable, and passionate about providing elderly care
• Respectful and kind

This full-time caregiving position has flexible hours. Depending on client needs, opportunities may include day or night shifts. Some clients may require as little as 4 hours of care, while others may require 24-hour care.

You help seniors live their best lives by assisting with daily tasks and enabling independence. You may perform light housekeeping, prepare meals, or run errands with cheerful efficiency.
