Performs a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.

• Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws, collaborating with physician to evaluate images and report abnormalities immediately.
• Follow established protocols for all imaging equipment, performing all routine daily, weekly, monthly and periodic maintenance and function checks.
• Ensure proper supplies, appropriate medical equipment and medications are available for patient care and Par levels meet facility needs.
• Participate in QAPI activities including participation in accreditation preparation and survey process, and maintenance of accreditation, state, and CMS standards.
• Adhere to established facility/departmental policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in all applicable facility meetings, training and development workshops.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Manager.

Minimum

Education and Experience Requirements:

Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program which has been accredited by an agency accepted by the ARRT.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position:
Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.

Licensure/Certification/Registration: Must be registered by the ARRT. Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist. Must have current BLS certification.
