The Vines Hospital (affiliated with Universal Health Services), located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting. Our services include partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment. We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World.

Enjoy the outdoors at one of the county’s serene parks, which includes wonderful hiking trails, river rafting, and tubing. Watch the county’s wildlife and view the scenery by taking a horseback ride through one of the area’s riding trails. Our Inpatient Therapists are responsible for conducting therapeutic groups for patients and documenting these sessions in a timely manner. They are also responsible for interviewing and developing the psychological histories, assessing the therapeutic needs of the individual and family, developing appropriate treatment objectives and weekly treatment summaries, acting as the patients’ and families’ primary contact during the patient’s stay at the facility, as well as their advocate with the treatment team, working as liaisons with outside agencies and individuals for the purpose of developing and coordinating discharge planning with the treatment team and family.

The inpatient therapist will serve adolescent and adult patient populations.

Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology required.
• Experience:
  
  One (1) year experience in a psychiatric health care facility, preferred, with direct experience in family and group therapies and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. Adolescent drug addiction experience highly desired.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Licensure in the state of Florida is preferred but not required.
