Shiloh Seventh-day Adventist School is seeking a dedicated, Christ-centered 5th and 6th grade teacher to join our small, close-knit school community for the school year. We are seeking an educator who views teaching as a ministry and is committed to fostering a Christ-centered learning environment that nurtures students academically, socially, physically, and spiritually.
Our school is fully accredited by the North American Division on Accreditation, the Accrediting Association of Seventh-day Adventist Schools, Colleges, and Universities, the National Council for Private School Association, and the Commission on International and Trans-Regional Accreditation.
Shiloh is located in North Central Florida within Marion county, minutes away from a variety of family and youth-oriented attractions.
The ideal candidate is one who is passionate about teaching upper elementary or middle school students, deeply committed to Christian education, and enthusiastic about integrating faith, learning, and service in alignment with Seventh-day Adventist Church values.
Responsibilities include:
- Teach 5th & 6th grade students in a multi-grade classroom setting
- Integrate faith and learning in alignment with Seventh-day Adventist philosophy and mission
- Design and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans
- Establish and maintain a positive, structured, and caring classroom environment
- Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, colleagues, and administration
- Participate in school programs and spiritual activities that mission of the school

We are seeking an educator who:
- Is an active member of the Seventh‑day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
- Is legally eligible to reside and work in the United States of America
- Has a bachelor's degree, and hold denominational certification or is willing to work towards one
- Supports the mission and philosophy of Seventh‑day Adventist education
- Possesses strong classroom management, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates strong instructional practices and has a passion for student success
- Utilizes instructional technology to enhance student engagement and learning
- Meets students at their academic and developmental levels while encouraging growth and excellence
- Integrates faith and learning across the curriculum
- Values collaboration, professionalism, and ongoing spiritual and professional development
