Overview

Chrysalis Health is urgently hiring Florida-licensed Psychiatrists (MD) to conduct psychiatric and court-related evaluations for youth referred by the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ). This is a high-need role with immediate opportunities statewide, ideal for psychiatrists seeking assessment-based work, professional autonomy, and flexibility alongside private practice or other clinical commitments.

• Perform psychiatric and diagnostic evaluations for DJJ-involved youth
• Review medical, psychiatric, and collateral records
• Provide clear diagnostic opinions and treatment recommendations
• Conduct evaluations on-site at DJJ facilities (no ongoing medication management required)

• Competitive per-evaluation pay (1099 contractor)
• Reliable referral flow

• Active, unrestricted Florida license as a Psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• Experience with psychiatric evaluations, forensic work, or juvenile populations preferred
• Ability to perform in-person evaluations
