Job Summary:

HCA Florida Ocala Hospital in partnership with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine is seeking a Chief Resident for its ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Position Highlights:

* Serve as a key liaison between residents, faculty, and program leadership

* Develop leadership and administrative skills while overseeing schedules, curriculum, lectures, research, quality improvement initiatives, and simulation lab activities

* Gain experience in conflict resolution, institutional policy, and program management under the guidance of the Residency Program Director

Qualified Candidates:

* Graduate of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program

* Eligible for Florida medical licensure

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster effective relationships with residents, faculty, hospital staff, and patients

* Program accredited for 45 residents within the UCF COM/HCA GME Consortium

* Candidates should submit CV and USMLE scores for consideration

* Visa sponsorship is not available
