Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and patient-focused Board-Certified Dermatologist to join a busy and growing outpatient dermatology practice in Ocala, Florida. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive general dermatology care to patients of all ages, treating a wide spectrum of skin conditions ranging from acute to chronic and benign to malignant. The ideal candidate is clinically strong, collaborative, and committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care while educating patients on preventive skin health.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive general dermatology services to a diverse patient population.
- Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, benign, and malignant skin conditions using appropriate diagnostic techniques.
- Serve in a collaborative and, as needed, Supervising Physician role.
- Educate patients on treatment options, preventive care, and long-term skin health.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient records using an EMR system.
- Ensure adherence to all state laws, clinical regulations, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and teamwork within the practice.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and confidentiality in patient care.
- Board-Certified Dermatologist (MD or DO).
- Active and unrestricted Florida medical license.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and procedural dermatology skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-care skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Patient Population:
All ages with general dermatology needs. - Practice Type:
High-volume outpatient dermatology clinic. - Technology: EMR-based documentation system.
