Position: Specialist, Work Order Expidter

Overview

Job Title: Expediter, Work Order.
Reports To: Manager, Production.
Position Location: Ocala, FL.
FLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): Non Exempt.
Position Summary: The Work Order Expediter works with the Production Manager to support all production ordering needs. This person is responsible for order entry and inventory management. This person will support front office operations. This position requires exercising independent judgment to perform the responsibilities described herein. Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and accurately input orders into company system.
  • Confirm order details, product availability, pricing, and customer information for accuracy.
  • Enter inventory data into system, reconcile stock counts with physical inventory, and report any discrepancies.
  • Update inventory records and maintain accurate order logs.
  • Coordinate with other departments on inventory and purchasing reports.
  • Manage front desk operations including answering phone calls, welcoming visitors, and providing administrative support.
  • Manages special projects as assigned.
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience
  • 1- 2 years of front office experience
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
  • Requires strong organizational skills and follow through.
  • Able to easily adapt actions based on urgency and level of priority.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office
Physical Demands
  • May be required to sit for long periods of time.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary Range: $15-17/hr depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
