We are a Preschool inside of a retirement community and provide an Intergenerational experience to our Grand friends and our Preschool children. As a Lead Teacher at Kendal Early Learning Center, you’ll help educate and care for our littlest residents. You’ll provide a safe and loving environment that nurtures the social, emotional, cognitive, creative, and physical development of each child.

• Creates lesson plans that are balanced and appropriate to development levels
• Document learning experience through observations, displays, and pictures
• Maintains positive informal and formal communication with families on a daily basis
• Maintains a safe, comforting and stimulating environment for all preschoolers
• Facilitates and maintains childcare licensing standards
• Friendly and a desire to work as a team in a rewarding, fast-paced environment

• Previous experience in a preschool environment
• Strong verbal communicator with an upbeat personality who is comfortable and excels with speaking to parents
• Energetic, nurturing, positive, child-friendly personality
• Shows initiative; strong work ethic
• High school diploma and must have a degree in Early Childhood or be working towards it

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
