You could be part of a dedicated team in providing excellent standards to the environment for adults living in Eadar Glinn Home.

Working with the Catering Manager and the team to support the service of the Home.

As a team member you will be assisting the Catering Manager to manage the production, service and delivery of catering in a care setting, ensuring that Health Promotion and Nutrition guidelines are promoted and followed.

Preparing and cooking meals and snacks to a high standard and value to individuals living in the home, as well as providing specific dietary requirements to residents.

You will be responsible for ensuring the areas are clean and in accordance with all policies and guidelines. Adhering to job specification details.

Promoting and adhering to Argyll & Bute policies and procedures, including Health & Safety.

Being part of residents’ daily lives, and supportive to the service to meet standards set out by Health & Social Care Standards, My support, My  part of a profession where continued learning and development is essential in supporting vulnerable adults and the wider community in Argyll & Bute Council.

Working alongside residents, carers and other professional staff as appropriate.

You require to be compassionate and understanding of others with an ability to empathise, as well as adapting to changes.

Good communication skills and the ability to be flexible as well as enthusiastic and able to use initiative and work well as part of a team.

Food hygiene certificate desirable, experience of catering & cooking in a professional environment also desirable.
