Financial Controller

Financial Controller | Wirral | £65,000 - £70,000 An opportunity to join a growing business based on the Wirral that are looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the day to accounting for the site. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will have a broad range of duties and this role is ideally suited to an experienced, Qualified Accountant who can demonstrate experience in leading a team and driving excellence.

Main duties include;
Staff management of 4, responsible for all control accounts Production of site management accounts & cash flow forecasts Produce weekly variance reports with an emphasis on labour & materials P&L management, reporting to the Finance Director and Ops Managers Act as point of contact for queries internally, provide business partnering to relevant senior leadership Ownership of UK balance sheet Authorising all payments and escalation point for suppliers Strict cash management, updating cash flow forecasts Candidate profile;

CIMA/ACA/ACCA Qualified Previous staff management Strong cash management background Previous experience in a costing environment preferred but not essential Excellent Excel and system skills (ERP) Benefits 25 days holiday Free parking Flexible hours Hybrid working Enhanced pension contribution
