Writtle, Essex Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 Job Type: Full-time, Office-Based About the Role We’re working with a respected accountancy practice that delivers exceptional audit and advisory services to a diverse client base. They are seeking an experienced Audit & Accounts Supervisor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA) who enjoys leading audits, managing client relationships, and mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities Lead audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio of clients. Prepare and review statutory accounts and tax computations. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements. Manage client relationships, handling queries professionally and efficiently. Mentor and support junior team members, promoting development and collaboration. Utilise accounting and audit software (e.g., Xero, Sage, Quick Books) to enhance processes.

About You ACCA/ACA qualified with proven experience in audit and accounts within practice. Strong technical knowledge of audit standards and accounting principles. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
