Outside Sales Representative (Oakville and Toronto, ON)

Savaria, a global leader in accessibility and patient care products, is seeking an energetic Outside Sales Representative to promote our flagship brand Silver Cross. Silver Cross sells new home healthcare equipment such as stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, ceiling lifts, and elevators to seniors, caregivers, and health‑care professionals across North America.

Position Summary

As an Outside Sales Representative you will focus on B2C sales, developing relationships with occupational therapists, physiotherapists, homeowners, and community stakeholders. You will use ZOHO CRM to track opportunities, introduce our product lines, and contribute to annual sales and gross margin targets.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct B2C sales focusing on our key product lines: stairlifts, wheelchair lifts, ceiling lifts, elevators.
  • Utilize ZOHO CRM to track and manage sales and business development opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
  • Expand and manage territory by engaging occupational therapists, physiotherapists, homeowners, and community stakeholders.
  • Organize and deliver in‑service presentations, lunch and learns, and trade shows to educate and build relationships within the medical community.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and key influencers.
  • Proactively cold call prospects and ensure diligent follow‑up.
  • Foster long‑term growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to enhance the profile of Silver Cross.
  • Initiate and manage sales calls to drive accessibility and mobility equipment sales.
  • Contribute to achieving annual sales and gross margin targets.
  • Establish Silver Cross as a recognized brand within the local community.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Energetic, eager, and tenacious.
  • University degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Business, or a related field, with at least 2 years of sales experience.
  • Experience using a CRM to maximize sales and business development efficiency.
  • Self‑starter with exceptional planning, organizational, and execution abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in promotional and marketing strategies.
  • Proficient in influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  • Passionate about building and expanding new business opportunities with a results‑driven approach.
  • Enthusiastic about the home health care sector.
  • Active listener with strong computer proficiency.
  • Bondable and possessing a proven track record in sales.

    Year 1 – $75,000+
