Position: FRONT OF HOUSE SHIFT LEADER

We are looking for someone with passion and experience for creating an amazing customer environment that can help support our management team in upholding the expectations of the business and provide exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, happy demeanor, problem solving skills, experience in training and/or leading staff, and be able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment. This person is expected to have great organization and time management skills, and as an added bonus, will have additional background in customer service.

The Shift Leader assists in training, customer service, merchandising, labour control, product knowledge and education. They also encourage safe work practices, and a commitment to the Kelly’s Bake Shoppe mission. Upholding the high standards we have at Kelly’s Bake Shoppe is a very important part of this position.

GENERAL DUTIES
  • Opening and closing the bake shoppe, meeting standards set in place for the business.
  • Helping to facilitate training as needed and ensuring staff are providing exceptional customer service.
  • Supporting management with various tasks as needed.
  • Quality control and upholding food safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Overseeing the food display, merchandising of the retail products out front to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Interact with customers in a positive, friendly manner, providing a high quality customer service experience, and handle complaints and praise with elegance.
  • Adhering to Kelly’s policies, procedures, mission and vision statements.
CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in a supervisory role.
  • Positive team player and strong leadership skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to both delegate tasks and follow directions.
  • Ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Exceptional integrity and reliability.
AVAILABILITY REQUESTS

We are looking for individuals with part-time and full-time availability. Must be ok working on weekends, as this is our busiest time of the week.
