Prepared Foods Associate

The Prepared Foods Associate plays a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable guest experience. This position involves preparing and serving high-quality food items, engaging with guests, and ensuring that every customer feels valued and taken care of. You’ll work directly with the public, serving meals and assisting with questions, all while supporting our culinary and retail teams.

• Greet every guest with warmth and a positive attitude
• Serve prepared food items with professionalism and attention to presentation
• Engage with customers to answer questions, make recommendations, and ensure satisfaction
• Maintain a guest-first mindset, even during busy or high-pressure times
• Ensure food is served promptly, safely, and at the highest quality standards
• Prepare ingredients, simple meals, and food components under direction
• Keep prep and service areas clean, stocked, and organized
• Assist with opening and closing duties in the kitchen

• Collaborate with kitchen and retail team members to deliver seamless service
• Communicate guest feedback and menu suggestions to managers and chefs
• Participate in training, tastings, and team events as required

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols
• Keep all guest-facing areas clean and visually appealing
• Quickly respond to spills or hazards to ensure a safe environment

• Previous experience in food service, deli, or hospitality preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Genuine interest in food, people, and creating a great customer experience
• Valid Food Handler card (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Friendly and outgoing personality with a guest-first attitude
• Confident in serving food and interacting with the public
• Quick learner who stays calm and efficient under pressure
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well in a fast-paced team environment

• Part-Time
  : up to 29+ hours/week depending on business needs
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays required
