We are looking for a Communications Partner to join our Canadian Access, Sustainability & External Engagement team based in either the Greater Toronto Area, ON or Montreal, QC.
About the RoleThe Communications Partner will lead the development and execution of strategic communications initiatives that advance UCB Canada’s external engagement and internal alignment with UCB’s Ambition and Vision.
Who You’ll Work WithThis role will collaborate internally and externally to shape UCB’s presence in the Canadian healthcare ecosystem through thoughtful, consistent, and impactful communications.
What You’ll Do- Contribute to the design and implementation of integrated communication strategies that support UCB’s business priorities and leadership aspirations.
- Collaborate with the Leadership Team to align messaging with strategic goals.
- Support the creation and delivery of external-facing content including press releases, social media, thought leadership, and stakeholder communications.
- Manage relationships with external communications vendors and partners.
- Develop and distribute internal communications such as newsletters, announcements, and leadership messages.
- Develop and implement an internal communication strategy that aligns with organizational goals.
- Channel management and delivery: evaluate, select, and manage the most effective communication channels so that messaging is streamlined and targeted.
- Content creation and curation: draft, edit, and curate compelling content for internal audiences.
- Ensure message consistency and alignment across all communication touchpoints.
- Engage regularly with the CA Leadership Team to develop and execute communications for Town Halls, videos, events, PIMs, and more.
- Partner with departments across the organization to ensure alignment and consistency in communications.
- Support the planning and execution of events, presentations, and campaigns.
- Work closely with leadership during times of change or crisis to develop timely, transparent, and empathetic communication strategies.
- Track and analyze communication metrics to assess effectiveness and inform continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7+ years of experience in strategic communications, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.
- Strategic mindset with proven ability to translate business goals into communication plans.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
- Bilingual in English and French (required).
