Responsible to grind and/or polish parts to remove burrs and grinds parts as required by customer drawing requirements. The Deburrer will visually inspect parts for burrs and imperfections, set up and use hand tools to remove burrs from machined parts and maintain equipment and supplies as required.

This position is onsite in Oakville, Ontario.

• Carefully remove any burrs left from CNC machining in components and sub-assemblies.
• Use material handling equipment to carefully move components from station to station.
• Complete sub-assembly testing, cleaning and marking as required.
• Interact closely with the Quality Control department to validate that all components produced are 100% in specification.
• Take immediate and appropriate action whenever a deviation or non-conformance is identified.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working as a deburrer or assembler in the nuclear, aerospace, or defense industries.
• Strong aptitude to learn new skills.
• Highly dexterous with extreme attention to detail.
• Adaptable team player with good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently to complete assignments promptly while maintaining the high standards required in our industry.
• Certified forklift and crane training an asset.

The base salary range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $45,000 and $64,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits.
