Dillon’s GIS Project Manager is a key part of our multidisciplinary group serving public sector, private and Indigenous clients. The successful candidate can be based at any of our offices in the GTA, Kingston or Ottawa. We offer flexible work hours to help balance the competing demands of work and personal life.

• Lead projects to plan, manage, implement and deliver complex GIS and data analytics solutions aligned with business strategies.
• Engage clients and stakeholders to identify outcomes, define deliverables, build consensus and manage expectations.
• Coordinate cross-divisional teamwork and communication; supervise project staff and foster a positive culture.
• Manage scope, schedule and budget using Microsoft and Google platform tools, ensuring delivery of results and benefits.
• Identify, evaluate and document risks, issues, constraints and dependencies; implement effective change request processes.
• Author and lead proposal submissions for GIS and Data Analytics projects, reviewing technical content and coordinating with authors.

• A degree in GIS, Data Analytics, Geography, Science, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience specifically in GIS & Data Analytics.

• Demonstrated project management expertise from initiation through evaluation.
• Experience engaging with clients and stakeholders on multidisciplinary projects, establishing and maintaining client relationships.
• Experience in proposal development and securing new project opportunities.
• Experience managing project scope, schedule and budgets as a project manager.
• Delivery of innovative GIS solutions that enhance client productivity.
• Experience conducting feasibility studies and needs assessments to determine appropriate GIS solutions and data models.
• Understanding of custom data collection tools, relational database design, ETL processes and spatial analysis.
• Understanding of ArcGIS Online, Portal environments, GIS architecture definition and collaboration with IT for system deployment and maintenance.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, presentation and written communication and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Pix4D, City Engine, Power BI, Python, Arc Py, JavaScript and Arcade would be an asset.
