Overview

Our client, an innovative industry leader in the insurance domain, is looking for a Senior ETL Developer - Hybrid to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience building reliable, scalable, and efficient data pipelines to operationalize high-quality data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making. This is a full-time permanent role, hybrid with 3 days per week in office (Oakville).

Candidates must be based in and legally eligible to work for any employer in Canada. 2 managerial references required; criminal, credit, education, and employment back checks required.

The Senior ETL Developer - Hybrid will have extensive experience building reliable, scalable, and efficient data pipelines to operationalize high-quality data solutions that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

Must-have Qualifications

• Data modeling in BI/Analytics, data warehouses, or data marts - 5-7Y+
• Data modeling tools such as ER/Studio, Erwin, or equivalent - 3-5Y+
• Relational and dimensional modeling (star/snowflake schemas) - 3-5Y+
• Advanced SQL, SQL Server and related MS stack components - 3-5Y+
• Designing and implementing data models that support Power BI - 3-5Y+
• Synapse, Azure Data Factory Databricks, or SSIS - 3-5Y+
• Azure cloud data services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Delta Lake - 2-4Y+
• Metadata management, data lineage, and data governance frameworks - 3-5Y+
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field - 3-4Y+
